The all new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet was unveiled in Germany on May 7, 2007. It is another great sassy design and the engine is the same as the 911 Turbo Coupe, a 3.6 liter six cylinder twin turbocharged boxer engine capable of 480 horsepower. This will give the model 60 hp more horsepower that the 2007 model. It is expected to officially hit the US market on September 8 at a cool price of US$136,500.-, whilst elsewhere prices start with a basic price starting at €126,600.-/US$172.000.-. In Germany the price is a hefty including tax €150,862.-/US$205.000.-.

The first car I ever owned was an ancient yellow Honda Convertible S600, which my father gave to me when I was about seventeen years old. I loved it, it was going like a rocket, but also a huge gas and pocket money guzzler.

Tip! • Another feature of an effective automotive security system is an immobilizer or kill switch to shut off the ignition/starter or perhaps the fuel pump. Certainly, such features make driving off with the car extremely difficult. One of the worst things for the clear coat on your automobile is bird-droppings. Just ask any auto detailer, car washer or automotive refinisher at any body shop and they will tell you all about it.
Bird-droppings need to be cleaned off a car quickly as they can be just as damaging as egg or even brake fluids or battery acid. If you park your car under a tree and there are birds in that tree it makes sense to have a healthy multi-coat wax job on your car to protect it. I recommend waxing your car at least once per month after you have strong base coat consisting of four or five coats already on it. This will insure that the bird droppings can be wiped right off without soaking thru the clear coat. continue

While the Japanese have long held control of the Asian sector of the foreign car market in America, and Korean-made Kias and Hyundais have climbed the hard ladder of respectability to deliver impressive 2007 models, Americans should brace themselves for the introduction of Chinese-made vehicles in the U.S. (potentially by the end of this year).
